More than a Kugel

When people talk about putting your heart and soul into something, I think of cooking because you need those two elements to transform a meal into something special.

During the High Holiday season, one dish that comes to mind that represents this phenomenon is Andy's Noodle Kugel.

Every year during the High Holidays, we would go to our dear family friends house, the Herman's. Andy, a mother figure of mine, used to make this amazing noodle Kugel loaded with cream cheese, cinnamon, and raisins. It smelled and tasted incredible and each year, I couldn't wait to break my fast with this nostalgic side dish.

A true childhood delicacy, this was the only time each year we would eat the kugel. It was always an incredible experience and besides being a great dish, it was made by Andy!

Andy's Noodle Kugel is my way of honoring her and the Holiday season!

I invite you to join and order the Zeitin's Delicatessen break fast. Please order today.
